This may seem an inane subject, but Jessica Simpson was on Rachael Ray the other day and said she loved Velvetta....I too am a fan of the imfamous orange block of cheese..I love it on grilled cheese, cheeseburgers, for mac and cheese its a dream, so creamy...I know there are those who abhor Velvetta but they also hate baked beans even though they have never tried them, even with the promise of a trip to DisneyLand...Well I digress..back to the the lovely orange block of cheese....I just wondered whos with me and whos against the block of cheese?

I'm solidly against.
Why? Because one time I spent practically a whole day looking for the stuff in a grocery store only to find out (much later) that Velveeta wasn't in the refrigerated section, like every other cheese was.
I despise Cool Whip for basically the same reason.
i think i am the one glittermom is referring to, since i HATE baked beans and velvetta.
why do i hate velvetta? oh, let me count the ways!
the texture is disgusting, like rubber. it's got a bad taste and it ruins everything it touches. plus it's really hard to clean off dishes.

In my grocery store the Velvetta is in the dairy case but I think thats just to fool you into thinking its real cheese because I have seen it on an end aisle when on sale and that is not refrigerated..but I do belive cool whip is in the freezer section and must remain there...so do not purchase cool whip outside of refrigerated areas...
I think that it's time you tell jennifer the truth of why she hates velveeta. Tell her how you melted it down and fillde her baby bottle with it as opposed to milk. Jennifer is a cheesebaby, that's why she can't eat dairy without squirting up her back.
P.S. Mommy: I do love Jennette but after Jennifer was born what gave you the strength to try again? What if you made the same mistake twice? You're a daring lady. Must have been the race car driving.
Isn't Velveeta super fattening?
I don't have a block of cheese on hand, but it has 1/3 less fat and calories than cheddar cheese....I don't think its that bad..
Velveeta takes one of the only good things the french ever invented, mac and cheese, and renders it into a day glo glue resin amalgam.
Maybe someone else knows a trickery that makes such things as you say creamy....
I didn't know that mac and cheese was french...I don't know why everyone is so against Velveeta...Me and Jessica love it...
