Glittermom, do you give recipe advice?

glittermom said...

Yes I do....I give all kinds of advice...Some choose not to follow my advice which I feel is prob a mistake..Whats your question little lobster boy?

two pieces of advice I will freely pass on are: a watched pot never boils and don't stir the crock pot!

Thanks, g-mom! I'm searching for a really good brisket recipe. (You're from Ohio, so I figure you must know a thing or two about preparing big slabs of meat.) Down here, everything meaty has barbeque sauce on it. I hate that.

And, while you're at it, what's your take on the cleanliness of bagged lettuce?... To wash, or not to wash?

By the way, I think your site should be renamed "Ask Glittermom", or something similar to that. (Lord knows your daughters could really use the advice, ya know!)

sorry Lobster boy, I never cooked a brisket...We in the midwest like our sausages....infact were have what we call our sausage fest for dinner tomorrow...there are tons of recipe sites on line you can check...the think with a large, not real tender pc of meat is you usually have to have some kind of lq..and cook it slow..

Ah well... Thanks anyway! That sausage dinner sounds pretty good. Did it go well?
