What do you do when you get real itchy in the winter? Can you go crazy? Or just scratch yourself to death?

i'm on my way to scratching myself to the bone. it's a new weight loss program.
yeah, i've been so damned itchy this winter. i think there needs to be a shower that, instead of water, covers you in lotion. aveno lotion.
